DraftSight A free, powerful 2D and 3D CAD tool
DraftSight is a two-dimensional drafting and architectural program designed for professionals. The program intentionally attempts to emulate the industry-standard application AutoCAD right down to the layout of the screen and the command box under the main window. Many of the commands and functions are the same as in AutoCAD. DraftSight does a good job making it easy to quickly draft things or work out problems visually without having to resort to trigonometry. It can output to DWG and DXF file formats of all versions. You do have to register your email to use the program leading to unwanted spam from advertisers. DraftSight is a solid and functional drafting program although it does not outshine AutoCAD.
